How we protect you
- Trust badges on listings. VREG: Customs Cleared confirms duty status, Inspected & Verified means the car passed a physical check, and Verified Dealer means the business was confirmed via CAC/NIN.
- Verified dealers. Dealer accounts are reviewed before they earn the badge, so you know who you are dealing with.
- Ratings & feedback. Buyers rate sellers after a deal, so a seller’s track record is visible before you commit.
- Report & review. Every listing has a Report button and our team reviews reported ads and removes fraudulent ones.
Your part of the deal
- Inspect the car in person before paying — see our Safety Tips.
- Pay on delivery or via a secure/escrow option; avoid advance payments for unseen vehicles.
- Keep receipts and a written agreement of what was promised.
If something goes wrong
Contact us straight away with the listing link, the seller’s details and what happened. We investigate, act against sellers who breach our rules, and share evidence with the authorities where a crime may have occurred. AutoArena is a marketplace that connects buyers and sellers; while we cannot guarantee a private transaction, we work hard to keep bad actors off the platform and to support you if a deal goes wrong.
